Synopsis

Chicago is a dazzling 2002 musical crime comedy-drama set in 1920s Chicago. After aspiring performer Roxie Hart is arrested for murdering her lover, she teams with charismatic lawyer Billy Flynn to turn her trial into a path to fame, clashing with vaudeville star Velma Kelly as courtroom spectacle and media frenzy transform crime into entertainment while exploring celebrity, corruption and the cost of notoriety.
