Synopsis

A tense political drama that follows President Lyndon B. Johnson as he and his closest advisers debate the American escalation in the Vietnam War. Based on real events, the film dramatizes the internal White House conflicts, the persuasive influence of figures like Robert McNamara and Clark Clifford, and the moral and political costs of those decisions.
