Synopsis

After a body is found walled up in a monastery, Commissaire Pierre Niemans (Jean Reno) and Captain Reda (Benoît Magimel) investigate linked murders that lead them into a conspiracy involving a secretive order of monks and a hidden treasure tied to medieval history. As they dig deeper they uncover fanaticism, drug-fueled rituals and apocalyptic symbolism, racing to stop a violent plot.
